UPDATE JUNE 2019

The building work on our new premises is taking a bit longer than expected, see photograph below. The eye of faith can see us settled in the new shop by late summer! Watch this  space…

Building work on the new shop

This spring we will be moving Alston Wholefoods three doors down the hill to a key position in the Market Square, next to the fish-and-chip shop. We are thrilled to be taking on the tenancy for Blackstocks. This is great for us because we’ll have more space, which is great news for you because it means we can expand the range of food and other goods on offer. We’ll also be able to buy more things in bulk, thus making savings which we can pass on to you, our customers.

There is some building work to done and a new shop front installed. This is thanks to our new landlord, Eddie Carr and the Alston Moor Partnership’s Townscape Heritage Scheme which is supported by a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund and will be managed by Peter Kempsey and his team at Countryside Consultants. As soon as that is complete, we’ll be moving in ASAP – hopefully during April. Watch this space to hear more about our plans as they develop.
